WELCOME TO JAMESTOWN BED AND BREAKFAST Old Rectory Cottage was built in 1664 as the village Rectory. It has been updated many times since then, but still retains it warm and welcoming atmosphere. Because of it status as a Rectory the bedrooms are generous for a cottage giving space for a beautiful king size bed, dressed in purcale linen and full pillows. Free Wireless Internet Access, is available in the room which gives access to a private bathroom with toiletries, bath/screened shower, heated towel rail draped with soft bathsheets. Breakfast is served in the Rectory's quite guest lounge, which along with underfloor heating has an open fire in winter, a small televison with dvd and daily newspapers available. Full English Breakfast is served which includes as many locally sourced produce as possible, Juice, Cereals, Tea, Coffee, Toast with a choice of preserves, Free Range eggs, local butchers produce. A CEDAR SEMI-DETACHED CHALET, WHICH IS SITUATED IN THE SEA SIDE TOWN OF MABLETHORPE. Just A Short Walk To The Beach.... Bookings SATURDAY To SATURDAY - Weekly Bookings..No Short Breaks............. 2 bedroom, 4 berth semi-detached cedar chalet with French windows opening onto a green - a bench is provided to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. The chalet has 1 double bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with bunk beds. Mattress and pillow protectors are provided for your comfort. Mirrors, wardrobe and chest of drawers are provided for storage. Both bedrooms have carpet for comfort. All bed linen and tea towels are supplied. You will need to bring Bath/Beach Towels as they are NOT supplied.. The lounge has a large sofa seating 4, with a table and matching chairs and a cosy stove for the cooler evenings. There is laminated floor covered with a rug in the lounge/kitchen and vinyl floor in the shower/toilet. The chalet has a microwave, fridge and full size cooker, cutlery and crockery and a TV with DVD. There is an electric shower in the shower room with a wall heater. The electric is supplied by means of a £1 meter. Most breeds of Dogs are welcome on the Park (The following breeds are not allowed on the park: Pit Bull Terrier, Rottweiller, Doberman, German Shepherd/Alsation & dangerous dogs) an extra cost of £20 for the first dog and £10 for the second, max. of 2 dogs per booking and must be kept on a lead at all times in the park. Bins are provided around the park for cleaning up after them. THIS IS A FAMILY PARK AND ONLY FAMILIES AND COUPLES ARE ALLOWED. We do NOT allow smoking in the chalet. The chalet is just a short walk from The Tavern, which has entertainment, but not too close to hear the music at night. There's bingo and discos during the school holidays and a ball game and activities area. The park has a small shop, laundry room and restaurant with chip shop. Close to the park is a cinema. The chalet is just a short walk over the sand dunes to one of the best UK,s Blue Flag beaches. a hallmark of cleanliness. A sand train will take you to the main beach at Mablethorpe. If you wish to explore more of the area a short drive or bus journey will take you further along the coast to Ingoldmells Fantasy Island with its large market and funfair, and Skegness with its shows and amusements. Travelling inland a few miles will take you to the Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty where you can take in the market towns of Louth with its market days Wednesday and Friday, Horncastle with antique shops and old fashioned tea rooms, Spilsby, Alford, and Woodhall Spa with its open air swimming pool and its famous Kinema-in-the-Wood. Further afield you can visit the city of Lincoln with its wonderful old shops and its magnificent cathedral.
